NOTICE TO ALL WALKERS FOR THE 2 WALKS ON SATURDAY 6 OCTOBER AT CAM & DURSLEY STATION
Bristol Parkway Station is closed, which will affect all travellers coming from the South. The times given in the programme are no longer correct and the following new arrangements are now appropriate which will mean an earlier train. It will be very difficult for anyone south of Westbury (and from Avoncliff) to get to the start point by 10.15.
Trains will terminate at Filton Abbey Wood, whereupon there will be a connecting bus to Yate and then an ongoing rain to Gloucester etc. Latest trains are as follows:
Bradford on Avon 08.21
Oldfield Park 08.11
Bus leaves FAWood at 9.15 and arrives in Yate at 9.50. Train then leaves at 10.02.
The return train will leave at the same time from Cam & Dursley. This will involve a change at Yate to Filton Abbey Wood before onward trains to your home destination.
16.56 arr Yate 17.10. Bus 17.20 to 17.50: Train 18.10. This train will go as far as Westbury and arrive there at 19.01. Some will need to get the 18.28 e.g for Keynsham
