admendments to the 2017 programme

Saturday 15th July 2017

As we are now in the summer season for the return trains from Weymouth back up to Bristol Temple Meads (BTM) - the following options are available for those going back to Bristol

1) Depart Bruton at 15.57 (the Weymouth train) to Castle Cary

  Dep Bruton 15.57    Arr Castle Cary 16.02   

  Depart Castle Cary  16.25  - High speed train to London    Arr Westbury     16.40 

  Depart Westbury  17.10    Arr BTM            17.48  - this will be a Portsmouth to Cardiff Central train and will call at Trowbridge, Bradford-on-Avon, Bath Spa and Bristol Temple Meads - check National Rail for the other stops

This is a valid route and comes up on the National Rail website and was tested in June 2016


2) Depart Bruton at 17.25 and arrive at Bristol Temple Meads at 18.37  - calls at all stations between Bruton and Bristol Temple Meads


The second option gives people to look at the Hauser and Writh Art gallery and Gardens or look at the church in Bruton or stop for a cup of tea

Please note that all walks from Bath Spa station - meet outsite of the station at the front where the taxis are and booking office and by the steps at the smaller exit
